After more than five years, the scaffolding covering Brooklyn Technical High School is coming down. As Gothamist reports, the scaffolding has masked Brooklyn Tech’s exterior since 2019, when the city began repairs on the 90-year-old school—the largest high school in the five boroughs. It will start to remove it in January. The School Construction Authority told the outlet that the scope of the repairs to the building’s roof and facade meant the scaffolding had to stay up for years.
