It feels like the sun is finally shining after the rain as there is a refreshing level of optimism around the Red Sox heading into this season. So it now doesn't feel that crazy to say the Red Sox are going to win the World Series. But that bet (+2000 at BetMGM) is not the only Red Sox future I like for the team this year. It's been a beautiful day for Red Sox fans, as many of us woke up to the news that the team has signed Alex Bregman to a three year, $120 million deal. And this is a TREMENDOUS sign that the Red Sox are back. The Red Sox are finally, FINALLY willing to spend money, to make a splash, not to merely show interest in a player and then watch him sign with another team and say oh well, we tried. They actually did something and that something actually improves the team.
