Standing on the tarmac in pelting rain, cramming a week's worth of outfits into Ryanair-appropriate hand luggage, jostling with ' aisle lice ' to disembark... Travelling the world is a privilege, but it's not without stress. And that's before you are faced with the overcrowded beaches, museums and bars that are par for the course in popular tourist hotspots. All of this can bring out the worst in people, and cause some controversial habits to rear their heads.

It's a truth universally acknowledged that with a huge Hollywood event comes huge Hollywood style, and the 2025 Baftas did not disappoint. Sure, there may have been fewer gobsmacking looks than we're used to (you can thank the SNL 50th anniversary celebration in the US borrowing the majority of A-listers for that) but the ones who were there? I'm well aware I've been quite lucky, generally, throughout my life to not be an acne-sufferer, or have severely dry or oily skin, or anything seen as classically 'bad'.

Kylie Minogue hasn't performed at BST Hyde Park in nearly a decade, but my goodness she knows how to make up for lost time. Our camp queen of addictive dance pop, 80s singalong hits and euphoric 00s floorfillers returned to the London festival for the first time since 2015, and her comeback could not have been more outrageous. Entering onto the stage in skintight red latex to a heaving crowd of 65,000, it was like a seal had been broken.
