Deux Français du célèbre commando Kieffer qui débarqua en Normandie le 6 juin 1944 sont enterrés en Moselle. Parmi eux, Alexandre Dupont. Un hommage émouvant, en présence de son fils Jean, lui a été rendu ce jeudi 8 mai, à Guénange. Une plaque commémorative est désormais posée sur sa tombe.

Ce 8 mai 2025, de nombreux reconstituteurs sont mobilisés pour les cérémonies marquant les 80 ans de la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale en Europe. Bien plus que du folklore, la reconstitution historique et l’uniformologie visent à transmettre la mémoire. Le messin Jean-Michel Duvignaud en fait une priorité.
