SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Four local track and field programs gathered at San Luis for a meet on Wednesday, with the Hawks walking away victorious on both the boys and girls side. For the boys' scores Gila Ridge totalled 175, Yuma 25, San Luis had 22, and Somerton with 12. On the girls' side, the Hawks scored 154, Yuma 61, San Luis 25, and Somerton 4. Not many meets remain for local programs, with just a month remaining before the Arizona state championships on May 16.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma baseball (15-5-1) took down Westview (8-11) 12-2 at Curley Culp Memorial Stadium on Monday. The Criminals didn't waste any time, jumping out to a six run lead in just the first two innings. Just three innings later, the game would end early with Yuma up by ten runs. Head coach Nick Johnson's team has just six games remaining in the regular season, with two coming in a Tuesday doubleheader at home against Cortez.
