I was hired to do a master plan for Union Station, which at the time was privately owned by Catellus – a spin-off of Southern Pacific. Around that same time in the early 1990s, the city mayor approached Peter O’Malley, then-owner of the Dodgers, about the idea of building a football stadium at Dodger Stadium.
