The Australian share market has experienced heightened volatility so far in August. On Friday 2 August, the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO) fell -2.08%, followed by a further -3.81% fall on Monday 5 August, taking August to date returns for the Australian market to -5.24%. Australia has fortunately outperformed, with the NASDAQ Composite Index is down -7.95% and Japan’s Nikkei 225 down over 20%.
