A memorable horror villain for a new era, M3GAN took the world by storm just a couple of years ago. A meme-able, witty and spooky psychopathic robot in the body of a dancing, singing little girl, it felt like lightning in a bottle, raking in huge box office numbers on a trademark Blumhouse modest budget. Considering its success, a sequel felt inevitable, but M3GAN 2.0 isn’t the traditional horror sequel you might expect.
