Two weeks after the United Nations’ top court, the International Court of Justice, issued a nonbinding advisory opinion on July 19 declaring that “the State of Israel’s continued presence” in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem is “unlawful,” the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev Justin Welby, gave his unequivocal support to the opinion.
