After the Lady Utes’ last game, they had just been ranked #22 in the nation, a first for new head coach Gavin Petersen. On Wednesday night, the Utes faced off against the Kansas State Wildcats and took a disappointing loss to another fellow ranked team. One notable derailment was that the Utes were missing a primary scorer in Kennedy McQueen. To begin, the Utes had a slow start, allowing an 18-4 run for Kansas State. To end this drought, Reese Ross would drain a 3-pointer to end the run.

EA Sports has recently announced that its long-awaited College Football 25 game is out on July 19. The last game that EA Sports released for college football was back in 2013, but according to Sports Illustrated it had to halt the series due to NCAA rules that center around player likeness and profitability. As seen on the EA website, the game comes in three separate versions, ranging from $70 to $150.

After their close win against the Jacksonville Dolphins, Utah Lacrosse clinched their second consecutive ASUN title, earning them a bid in the NCAA Lacrosse tournament. The game started out positively for the Utes, with Ryan Stines nabbing the first goal for the Utes just three minutes in. Two minutes later he grabbed another, making it 2-0 for Utah. Jacksonville was quick to catch up, getting their first point with seven left in the first quarter.

The Utah Lacrosse team (9-4, 7-1 ASUN) had a great win on Saturday against Cleveland State (7-7). The win was a crucial one, as the Utes remain in second place in the ASUN standings after winning six straight games. This was their last away game for the season, and will face Queens University of Charlotte in the final regular-season game. The game started off slow for Utes. CSU was able to get a goal just a minute in. It was not until minute ten for the Utes to get their goal.

At the University of Utah, you will find some of the most passionate fans in collegiate sports. Across campus and the nation, the U has shown excellence across the board. The same passion is shown at the Utah Asia Campus. Utah’s Asia Campus calls South Korea home, along with their baseball team, the Utah Devils. The club’s motto is “U.T.A.H.,” which stands for “Unite Together Among Higher.” This promotes unity and sportsmanship within the club, creating a strong bond between teammates.

After defeating Lindenwood 17-5 on the road, the Utah lacrosse team (8-4, 6-1 ASUN) traveled to Georgia to take on Mercer. The Utes grabbed a comfortable 20-9 win, earning back-to-back road victories. Utah has been on fire recently, winning five straight games and making a mark in the ASUN standings. Just a minute in, Jared Andreala grabbed the first goal for the Utes. After two saves from goalkeeper Colin Lenskold, Tyler Bradbury found the next goal of the day.

The Utah Utes Lacrosse team (6-4) was able to set the tone in a huge win against Robert Morris (3-7) this past Friday at the Rice-Eccles-Stadium on MUSS appreciation day. This was the second-lowest opponent goals allowed in the history of the team. In the first half, the Utes were well controlled. Jared Andreala came out aggressive, helping Utah receive the first goal honors in the first three minutes of the quarter.

After the Utah lacrosse team (5-4, 3-1 ASUN)) took a dominant win against Detroit Mercy last week, the Utes were battle tested against Jacksonville (6-4) this Saturday. It was a tough fight between the two teams almost the whole game, and it came down to the wire. The Utes would overcome several droughts in this high scoring game, winning 16-14. Utes once again had to travel far, this time to Jacksonville, Florida.
