Time is running out to see ‘No Other Land,’ the 2025 Oscar winner for Best Documentary. It’s a joint Israeli-Palestinian effort aimed at showing what is happening to the people of Masafer Yatta, an area of 19 hamlets in the West Bank near Hebron. Very few theaters nationwide would carry the film and it currently has no streaming partner. The only way to watch now is on the website (linked above) and even then this is for a limited time.

Once again: DC isn’t asking for a dime of federal dollars. We’re asking for the ability to spend *our own money*. The city runs a BALANCED BUDGET. This hurts cops, firefighters, schools, sanitation enforcement and just about everything else. It’s disgraceful partisan bullshit.
Per the planned schedule for next week, the House will not be voting on the Senate bill that fixes the $1.1 billion mess the House made of D.C.'s local budget. It will vote, though, to redesignate Saratoga National Historical Park as Saratoga National Battlefield Park.
