Millions of Americans traveled to cities in the path of totality to catch the solar eclipse at its apex on Monday. For many, particularly those in State College, the experience was marred by overcast skies. People took days off of work, booked hotel rooms and Airbnbs and traveled from all over to see the eclipse only to be let down. Some students across the country, maybe a lucky Penn Stater or two, even had class canceled for the eclipse.
