    Sophie was at Ascot for Ladies Day which fell on June 19, the 26th anniversary of her marriage to Prince Edward. The couple said ‘I do’ at St. George’s Windsor on June 19 1999. Over a quarter of a century later, the Duchess arrived at Ascot in a striking hat which was topped with flowers and featured a white veil. It was a bridal touch to Sophie’s summery Ascot outfit. The hat was worn with a white tea dress covered in a deep green floral print.

    The mother of the Princess of Wales, Carole Middleton, was among the guests in the Royal Enclosure as Royal Ascot’s second day got under way. Carole Middleton joined King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Prince of Wales to watch the racing on another sun soaked day at the Berkshire course. Her daughter, the Princess of Wales, had had to drop out of attendance just hours earlier.

Catherine was set to attend day two of the meeting with Prince William and the original carriage procession announcement, released at noon, included her attendance. However, an hour later it was confirmed that the Princess would no longer be attending when a new carriage list was revealed. The Daily Telegraph reports that Her Royal Highness is understood to be disappointed not to be able to be there.

As the Royal Family celebrated dads everywhere, Queen Camilla shared an unseen portrait of her with her own father on the day she married King Charles. Her Majesty is seen arm in arm with Major Bruce Shand in a photo taken for the blessing ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. The church service followed Queen Camilla’s civil wedding to King Charles which took place earlier the same day in Windsor Guildhall.
