The Duke of Kent is still seeking answers to the tragic loss of his father during World War Two. The Duke, now 89, has been visiting the memorial in Scotland that marks the place that the plane carrying his father, Prince George, and 14 others crashed in 1942. Prince George was killed – only one person on board survived. Prince Edward was just six at the time of the accident. Historian Tessa Dunlop has been speaking to the Duke and told True Royalty TV that ”he’s still chewing over it.

All eyes will be on Monaco in the coming days as Prince Albert and Princess Charlene host one of the most talked about couples in the world. The Prince and Princess of Monaco are set to welcome the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and his wife, Brigitte, for a State Visit. The French President and First Lady will arrive in the Principality on June 7 for a two day stay.

The Princess Royal has visited the hospital where many of those injured when a car was driven into crowds in Liverpool are being treated. Princess Anne went to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital to thank emergency workers and medical staff who have been looking after those hurt when the vehicle hit pedestrians attending a victory parade for Liverpool FC after they won the Premier League.

There were big crowds, a warm welcome and plenty of cheers for The King and Queen as they arrived in Canada for an historic visit and Charles III ended the day with a triumphant gesture to match the mood. As His Majesty planted a tree in the grounds of Rideau Hall in Ottawa, he got a big round of applause and matched it by holding his spade high in the air.

King Charles III is about to make the first visit to Canada of his reign. The King, with Queen Camilla, will become only the second Monarch to open the country’s parliament during his brief trip. The royal visit runs from May 26 to May 27 2025 and will last just 24 hours in total but it’s already being seen as one of the most important trips of Charles III’s reign.
