REVIEW – I have a couple of hobbies that I participate in that tend to take me off the cellular phone grid. I love to hike, and I love to ride motorcycles. Both activities tend to occur in the Texas Hill Country, north of San Antonio and West of Austin. I always tell my husband where I am going and what route or trails I plan to take. However, especially on the motorcycle, there are a lot of empty roads where it would be easy to be on the side of the road and not visible to car drivers.

REVIEW—I have a crafting table in my office at home that I use to do various projects. I build Legos, mess with my 3D prints from my 3D printer, solder, and even use it to coat cutting boards I have made with mineral oil. The picture above has my little triangle holders on the desk that support the boards off the table while they cure.  You would think that when we built this house, we would have planned to have better light in this room besides the meager light put out by a single ceiling fan.

REVIEW – I have been stranded one too many times in my younger years with a flat tire. Ever since my first flat, I have always tried to be more prepared in case the situation arises again. I do have AAA to help me out, but they often make you wait an hour or more on the side of the road for someone to change a tire. I also like the ability to top off my car tires when on a road trip without having to find a gas station with a working air pump.

REVIEW – Hanging pictures has always been something I dread. I am the worst at getting them level. Command strips made this even harder because you only have one shot at pressing that picture to the wall. I recently completed the Lego Milky Way picture and want to hang it above my desk in my office. I kept holding off because the picture requires two screws about 10 inches apart.

REVIEW – I have reviewed a couple of scooters for The Gadgeteer. My first was the Yadea ElitePrime scooter with a max speed of 18.6mph. The second was the HiBoy Max Pro scooter that could go up to 22 mph. I admit that I seriously have the need for speed. I get that fix on my motorcycle, but I am always on the lookout for a faster scooter. The new TurboAnt R9 promises a max speed of 28mph. I got to see if it could go as fast as they promised.
