Humala and his wife were accused of receiving funds from Brazilian builder Odebrecht, now known as Novonor, in his successful 2011 election campaign. Humala’s wife, Nadine Heredia, was also sentenced to 15 years in prison on Tuesday.

By Trevor Hunnicutt U.S. President Donald Trump on social media announced the names of five digital assets he expects to include in a new U.S. strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies on Sunday, spiking the market value of each. Trump said in a post on Truth Social that his January executive order on digital assets would create a stockpile of currencies including bitcoin BTC=, ether ETH=, XRP XRP=, solana SOL=CCCL and cardano ADA=CCCL. The names had not previously been announced.
