I’ve been talking a ton about Survivor 50 lately for obvious reasons. I’m sure I’ll have a few more posts over the next week or two about rumors or some wild fantasies about what I want to see, but I had to take a break from all that to weigh in on another argument going on. Fans are talking about who the best recent winner is, and in the least surprising development ever, most are not even considering Kenzie Petty.

A week after announcing WWE was not picking up his contract, R-Truth made a shocking return at Money In The Bank last night. His appearance followed an outpouring of frustration and anger from fans who repeatedly chanted “We Want Truth” on Raw and SmackDown and took to social media to complain. The surprise moment got an all-time crowd pop from those in attendance and an overwhelmingly positive response on X, but it sounds like the details behind the scenes weren’t quite so smooth.

It’s been a little more than a week since the Survivor 50 cast was announced, and a lot of fans have not stopped complaining. I did my share of grumbling and am still big mad about a few last minute cuts (give us Abi-Maria!), but honestly, my annoyance is now focused elsewhere. More specifically, it’s focused on the number of people in the cast and what that’s probably going to mean for Immunity Challenges. There are 24 people on the Survivor 50 cast.

There are only four matches on the 2025 Money In The Bank card. To put that into perspective, there were eleven in 2019, plus one on the pre-show. Some of that has to do with head booker Triple H’s preference for longer bouts versus Vince McMahon’s preference to get more people on the card, but even so, I’m wondering where all the time is going.

It’s been almost a week since the cast of Survivor 50 was announced, and there’s still a lot of confusion from fans and former players about how the show settled on the final list. The milestone season is supposed to be a celebration of the show’s long history, but it doesn’t actually include many of the most famous castaways and breakout stars. Now one popular former player has come forward with a theory as to why.

Please cast Abi-Maria on Traitors for Season 4.

Yes, I was cut from #Survivor50. Still letting my people know, recharging, licking wounds. Not mad—casting’s doing their job. Maybe I held on too long, but hey, hope is a hell of a drug. I know I’m great TV. I’ll speak more soon. Stay tuned. 💔⚡️ #StillLegendary https://t.co/ckU6uyyM78

I don't understand what Survivor is doing. Abi-Maria should have been an immediate yes. Instead, we're getting a bunch of fairly memorable New Era players who haven't made enough of an impact to justify their inclusion.

My dream for The Miz is he does fun entertainment projects like this but never fully gets away from WWE. We need at least one more IC Championship run!

I’m thrilled to announce I’m the new host of AMERICAN GLADIATORS! The 10-year-old me is screaming. Huge thanks to MGM & Amazon Prime Video for trusting me with this iconic legacy. We’re honoring the original and bringing fresh energy to a whole new generation. AG IS BACK! https://t.co/tJk94agiSf
