SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Crews in Lycoming County are now on their third day of searching the Susquehanna River for a missing girl. Officials say 10-year-old Claue Schreffler-Algofera went underwater in the west branch of the Susquehanna River near the Hepburn Street Dam in South Williamsport on Sunday and did not resurface. An adult and a child were rescued, while a teenager managed to swim to safety.

PennDOT urges travelers to prepare for REAL ID deadline on May 7

MONTOURSVILLE, Pa. — REAL ID signs can be found inside the Williamsport Regional Airport near Montoursville. The clock is ticking down for those who have yet to get their REAL ID. Starting May 7th, a state-issued ID or driver's license will no longer be enough to board a plane. "Get the REAL ID. We'll add four years to your existing driver's license. There's a $30 fee plus the renewal, and you will have a license that's good for more than four years," said PennDOT secretary Michael Carroll.
