    WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Homemade blankets of all shapes and sizes can be found on tables inside the Lycoming Law Association office in Williamsport. The blankets are for Project Linus—a national organization that provides handmade blankets for children in need.  Every spring, the Lycoming Law Association Young Lawyers Division collects blanket donations for the nonprofit's local chapter. The blankets then go to area children in need.

    MUNCY, Pa. — What used to be the home of Best Buy near the former Lycoming Mall in Muncy Township will soon be home to Bass Pro Shops. The wilderness retailer currently only has one store in Pennsylvania — located in Harrisburg. Jason Fink, the CEO and President of the Williamsport Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, tells us bringing a Bass Pro Shop to the Lycoming County area has been two years in the making.  No two shops are the same, he said. The one built here in Muncy Township will be unique.

    WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Staff are stocking shelves and organizing aisles as Barr's Ace Hardware in Williamsport moves into its new location and out of their old one on West Fourth Street. David Hedrick own's the Lycoming County business and says he decided to move out of the 6,000 square foot building because the business outgrew the space. Hedrick purchased the building on Market Street--home of the former Rite Aid in the city.
