New Published May 8, 2025 4:21 am Most of the Central Coast is waking up to clear skies Thursday morning. We may see the marine layer develop between daybreak and lunch time, however this is very dependent on winds. Regardless, if the clouds develop or not, by late afternoon the sun breaks through and all clouds diminish. Temperatures rise fast and warm into the upper 60s and 70s by the beaches and 80s inland. This is the start of the significant warming trend.

New today at 4:19 am Published May 7, 2025 4:34 am High pressure arrives and helps marine clouds clear quickly Wednesday. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and temperatures to warm up. Highs will rise into the 60s and 70s by the beaches with a smattering of 80s inland. Offshore flow will aid in clearing clouds and will inhibit marine layer formation overnight. Most beaches will wake up to completely clear skies tomorrow.
