South Carolina’s Department of Consumer Affairs now joining other consumer advocates around the nation in raising concerns about what will happen to the DNA data of 23andMe’s 15 million customers when the genetic testing company sells to a third party. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week.
Fiery crash kills 2 young children, 2 adults in Jeff Davis County

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -A mother is the only surviving member left in her family after her husband and two young children were killed in a fiery crash in Jeff Davis County Thursday night. Nicholas Coleman, 27, and his two children Tinsley, 3, and Stetson, 2, died when the Chevy Avalanche they were riding in crossed over the line and crashed head-on with a semi-truck going the opposite way. Jeff Davis County Fire Rescue says both vehicles to burst into flames upon impact.

Some residents on the island say they don’t understand why FedEx and UPS will deliver packages to their home, but the United States Post Office won’t deliver mail--they are forced to have a P.O. Box. We reached out to the United States Postal Service on this. They sent us a statement saying:The Postal Service is committed to providing quality service, as long as we can do so safely and efficiently.

The St. Patrick’s Day to-go cup has become something people look forward to every year. Five years ago, the Savannah Downtown Business Association announced the reusable aluminum cups as a replacement for plastic ones in an effort to keep Savannah green in the Season of Green. Every year, local artists compete to have their design featured on the cup.
