The WNBA draft was a long night of waiting for the Liberty. But when the time came, with the draft nearly wrapped up, general manager Jonathan Kolb picked a player he believes could be a good future prospect for the Liberty. The Liberty picked French center Adja Kane with the final selection of this year’s draft Monday. Kane, the No. 38 overall pick, is a 6-foot-3 skilled center, whom the Liberty drafted and stashed to allow her to continue playing professionally in France while she develops.
