By Madelyn Orr The seventh-ranked Blair Oaks baseball team upset fifth-ranked Nevada 7-5 on Thursday in Wardsville to advance to the MSHSAA Class 4 semifinals for the first time since 2021, when the Falcons placed second to Kennett. Blair Oaks grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first inning against the Tigers (23-6) and didn't surrender it through the remainder of the matchup.

By Madelyn Orr Two Missouri women's track and field athletes advanced in their respective events during the NCAA Outdoor Championships First Round on Thursday in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Junior Skylar Ciccolini made the biggest move, placing 11th with a throw of 168 feet, 5 inches in the women's javelin to advance to the event's final round at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 6 at Hayward Field in Euegene, Oregon.
