Set to the electric and iconic music of The Go-Go’s, Endicott’s new Mainstage production Head Over Heels follows the journey of a royal family as they try to save their kingdom from losing its “beat” (as in, “We Got The Beat”). The musical comedy, which ran on Broadway from 2018 to 2019, features various characters in the LGBTQ+ community and is a contemporary spin on Sir Philip Sidney’s 16th-century The Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia.

Every summer during her childhood, Emma Cyr ’24 flew across the country from her home in Minnesota to visit her grandparents in Connecticut. That's how she developed a passion for travel, which continued with family trips and even solo trips. But no matter where she went, she always stayed in hotels. On her solo adventures, Cyr never felt alone. Chatting with front desk staff and housekeepers at accommodations, she made connections and felt safe in her surroundings.

Although his hometown of Ludlow, Mass., had a community theater, he never participated in or even attended a performance during his childhood. But when he arrived at Endicott College, the curtain on his love for theater and the world of Broadway began to rise.
