Ο Μίλοραντ Ντόντικ, Πρόεδρος της Σερβικής Δημοκρατίας δήλωσε πρόσφατα ότι δεν θα επιτρέψει στην Βοσνία να ενταχθεί στο ΝΑΤΟ. Όπως ήταν φυσιολογικό προκάλεσε αναταραχή καθώς είχε προηγηθεί το άνοιγμα ρωσικής πρεσβείας στην Μπάνια Λούκα, όπως και η πανσερβική διακήρυξη ενίσχυσης της διασυνοριακής συνεργασίας με την Σερβία για την διασφάλιση των συμφερόντων των απανταχού Σέρβων.

China and Poland have established the first regular rail connection between the two as part of a project meant to strengthen trade between Beijing and Warsaw. The project, in line with China's Belt and Road Initiative, launched more than a decade ago, is being touted as reestablishing the ancient Silk Road between Europe and Asia. The newly inaugurated rail connection is part of Beijing's strategy of expanding its trade networks.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk met in Warsaw to discuss security and Poland's eastern border for the first time in six years. After the meeting Tusk reiterated to reporters that Germany should be a leading country in "reference to European and Polish security."Scholz has previously said that Germany would take co-responsibility for the border -which Poland shares with Belarus and Russia- through investment into infrastructure and security needs.
