TEL AVIV, Israel - The Palestinian militant organization Hamas has released a propaganda video showing an Israeli soldier who is being held hostage in the Gaza Strip. In the three-minute recording, which Hamas published on its Telegram channel, the young soldier appeals to politicians in Israel and the United States to do everything possible to secure the release of the remaining hostages in Gaza through an agreement with Hamas.

The relatives of the hostages have been informed, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement published on Wednesday.
