A woman who lost her son to an aggressive brain tumour wants to support grieving parents who have lost a child to illness. Lauren Henderson's 10-year-old son Logan died in May. She is in the process of setting up a charity for families who have found themselves in a similar situation.

Head of marketing Rochelle Zare admitted it could have been a mistake by the park not to have an S on the end of Midland. A football fan has praised Michael Owen and his son for raising awareness about a degenerative eye disease. Eleven-year-old Zayd, from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, has Stargardt disease, the same condition as the former England striker's son James. James Owen, 17, and his dad spoke about James' sight loss on a BBC Access All podcast, ahead of a new documentary. Zayd said he was inspired by James' story and would also not be held back by sight loss.
