You could not ask for better weather to close out the month of August. Skies will be mostly sunny, and temperatures will be seasonable. We’re forecasting a high temperature in the middle-80s near Lincoln. However, a few areas to the west may make a run for the 90s. It will also be a touch on the breezy side, with a south-southeast wind anywhere from 12-22 mph during the day. The breeze will likely contribute to the dispersal of wildfire smoke.
