SELMER, Tenn.—McNairy Co. residents enjoy some rodeo action and lend support to those in need. The Tornado Relief Rodeo happened Sunday beginning at 2 in Selmer. The event, sponsored by First Choice Farm and Lawn along with Rockin’ K Rodeo Productions, took place at the McNairy County Ag Center located at 851 High School Road. There was more than just rodeo action, the event had vendors, music, great food and even games to play.

HENDERSON, Tenn.– Tipsters alert us to multiple shots fired at a Henderson apartment complex. We received several tipsters messages regarding shots fired and a large police presence early Sunday morning around 1 at the Hillview Manor Apartments located at 597 Sanford Street in Henderson. We spoke to residents at the complex who confirmed they heard multiple shots, some saying this was not the first time for these type of incidents to occur.

The Jackson-Madison Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a special event in honor of Marquis de Lafayette today in Anderson Park. The celebration kicked off at 10 Saturday morning. The event featured live violin performances from the Revolutionary period as well as a reenactor.

BELLS, Tenn.—One group of firemen help in hosting an event to support a special first responder. The Bells City Hall joined with Bells Fire Department to host a BBQ Benefit from 11 Saturday morning until 3 that afternoon. There were delicious foods including hotdogs and hamburgers available for purchase. All proceeds from the event will go to support the needs of Chief Donnie King from Bells Police Department.
