    Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed grief over the death of Professor Joseph Targena Orkar, a staunch supporter of his, saying that he played a significant role in whatever he achieved in politics. This warning came in response to recent remarks by a group of ‘Concerned Elders,’ led by former Governor Sir Celestine Omehia, who demanded that Wike apologise to Odili over political disagreements.

    The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has unveiled an innovative program allowing students to resit their WASSCE exams as early as January and February 2025. This marks a significant shift from the traditional system, where candidates had to wait for the next private exam cycle. John Kapi, WAEC’s Head of Public Affairs, announced the initiative of resit named WASSCE PC1, during an appearance on a program in Ghana on December 31.
