Odisha To Bring New EV Policy Soon, Says Deputy CM Odisha is now all set to formulate its new Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy for the state, Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister K.V. Singhdeo said. This comes close to the expiry of its last EV policy in 2026. The state had earlier floated its Odisha Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy in 2021 to spur the growth of EVs in the state. The policy will now expire on February 11, 2026.

Tata Power on Wednesday reported a 25 percent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, as strong operational momentum and higher energy demand boosted earnings. The company posted a net profit of ₹1,306.62 crore for Q4 FY25, compared to ₹1,045.59 crore in the same quarter last year. However, profit was slightly lower than the previous quarter’s ₹1,376.17 crore.
