Dear Editor,I read with interest, and some humor, the article by Li and colleagues. Given that the population was primarily young adults with dry eye sundrome, I wonder whether they were tested for Sjogren syndrome and, if yes, how many had this systemic autoimmune disorder. Patients with Sjogren syndrome often have systemic symtpoms including dry mouth, arthralgia and fatigue. One wonders whether laughter therapy would be helpful for these symptoms.
