Mojang and Microsoft have started to pull back the curtain on Minecraft‘s next big game drop. Most notably, it now has a name, and players can expect some pretty substantial changes. The drop will be titled Chase the Skies, which is an appropriate name, as players will be able to obtain a new flying mount: the Happy Ghast. Unlike the standard mean Ghast, the Happy Ghast allows players to soar through the skies with a friendly, smiling Ghast.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet – Destined Rivals arrived on store shelves just a few days ago, but the cards are (unsurprisingly) difficult to come by. A new promo card from the set might be a little easier to obtain, thanks to a new giveaway happening through the Pokemon Center website. The card in question is Team Rocket’s Tyranitar, which includes the Pokemon Center logo alongside the bottom left hand side of the artwork.

The Splinter Cell franchise has been missing for more than a decade, but it looks like an announcement could be on the way. Ubisoft cryptically shared an image of series star Sam Fisher on its official X/Twitter account, leading to speculation that we could see a new reveal over the next few weeks. The publisher announced a remake of the original game all the way back in 2021, but details have been slim to nonexistent in the years since.

Splatoon just celebrated its 10th anniversary, with the original game having been released on Wii U back in May 2015. Following that game, Nintendo released two additional series entries on Switch, and fans are understandably curious to see what the future holds. A new game on Nintendo Switch 2 seems like a guarantee, but nothing has been announced at this time. That hasn’t stopped fans from speculating though, and some believe we’ll be seeing an announcement in the near future.

Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s next free update should be released over the next few weeks, and while Gameloft has not revealed a lot of concrete details about it just yet, we’re starting to get hints of things to come. The new update will launch alongside a new Star Path, and the developers are teasing some of the rewards that can be obtained.

Saw Oddity tonight. Knew nothing about it going in and walked out very impressed. Good tension and jump scares, and a solid storyline that all clicks together nicely, even when the murder mystery isn’t too tough to solve.

Bummed to hear about Davide Soliani leaving Ubisoft. He’s done great work on the Mario + Rabbids series, and it seems this is the end now. I got to interview him in 2022, and he was just infectiously passionate about all things Mario. https://t.co/Z8gXIc6Z3B

You can tell Twitter doesn’t have the juice anymore because of that Oscar Mayer Weinermobile crash. That would have been a top Twitter story in 2014, with 50 solid gold Tweets that we’d be talking about years later, but this is 2024, and that’s not even a blip on the radar, man.
