A week before the NFL Draft, a pair of projected first-round picks were on display Thursday morning before scouts and decision-makers from teams with multi-million dollar decisions to make. Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams, the former Georgia football teammates and two of the top pass rushers in this draft, held a private workout in the school’s indoor practice facility that lasted 20 minutes. They only did on-field position drills, with no testing.

Georgia football cornerback Ondre Evans was spotted at Saturday’s G-Day game on the sidelines on crutches and did not participate in the end-of-spring scrimmage. Evans provided details on his injury Wednesday when he posted on his Instagram story that he had “Successful acl surgery.”That could keep the 6-foot, 195-pound redshirt freshman from Franklin, Tenn., out for the 2025 season. Evans was a four-star prospect in the 2024 class.
