The temporarily deflated crowd at Greenwood Tennis Center looked onto Court 5 as Chris Young coached up Gracie Epps. Any fears that the sophomore might struggle mentally after she gave away the second set were quickly dispelled. Epps beat Alexandra Yepifanova, 6-4, 6-7 (11-13), 6-4, and sent Oklahoma State to the Elite Eight as the Cowgirls beat Stanford, 4-3, Saturday. kAmtAAD <?6H D96 H@F=5 E9C:G6 :? Pop hired himself as head coach 4 years before I was born. I knew this was inevitable after his latest heath scare, but it’s heartbreaking he wasn’t able to walk away on his own terms. He’s the greatest coach ever and an even better person. Eternally grateful for all he’s done.

Thank you, Coach Pop, for your brilliance on and off the court. We look forward to our next chapter together. https://t.co/4x6AFpSmQM
