Pachyman, is the musical project of Puerto Rican-born, Los Angeles-based musician Pachy Garcia, his new album Another Place, his fifth album for ATO Records will drop on May 23. Another Place is inspired by pioneering synth-pop weirdos like William Onyeabor and Yellow Magic Orchestra to Basic Channel’s amniotic dub techno — into a sound that, while still anchored in dub reggae’s walls of sound, is undeniably Pachyman’s own. Pachyman is preparing to take Another Place on the road.

Maya Hawke releases “Hang In There,” the track is off the multi-artist’s forthcoming album Chaos Angel, available May 31st via Mom+Pop. Zooey Celeste shares the new single, “Cosmic Being,” from his ATO Records debut album, Restless Thoughts Produced by longtime friend and artist/producer Nick Hakim, “Cosmic Being” is one of the oldest songs on Restless Thoughts and furthers the dark and ethereal sounds displayed on lead single “Restless Thoughts.” With a punchy bassline and drum machine underlying Zooey’s orchestral vocal performance, “Cosmic Being” originated from another improvised moment of clarity.
