They say life begins at 50, which is certainly true if a study published this week is anything to go by. Researchers from University College London (UCL) found that people over the age of 50 are now happier, have greater life satisfaction, and a stronger sense of life being worthwhile, than before the pandemic. “It is good to see the positive wellbeing has gone back to normal or even better than normal,” says Professor Paola Zaninotto, the study’s author.
