Introduction Fontan circulation (FC) is a palliative procedure for patients with single ventricle congenital heart disease where the systemic venous return is directed into the pulmonary circulation. There is increasing awareness about the extra-cardiac complications of the Fontan procedure including phaeochromocytoma and paraganglioma as patients are living longer due to advances in medical practices.
