Theresa Roche’s career portfolio includes multiple roles as an actress, singer, dancer, presenter and costumed tour guide. After completing a history degree, she trained as an actress and then as a solicitor. But she says it is the performing arts that have always been her guiding star. In theatre Theresa’s roles include the Queen in Snow White, Princess Thaisa in Pericles and Catherine Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights.

Ivybank House Care Home, a 43-bed care home in Bath, has appointed Andrew Pow as care home manager. Andrew has over 35 years’ experience working within the care home sector in a variety of roles across residential, nursing, dementia and specialist mental health services. A life-long carer, Andrew began his carer as an auxiliary nurse working at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline and the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, Scotland.

A message from Heidi Jayne Boyes. I am delighted to be joining the Royal High School Bath as Head and am really looking forward to taking up my post in January 2025. I will be moving to Bath from Wakefield Girls’ High School which I have led for nearly six years and have seen it become one of Yorkshire’s outstanding schools. Royal High also has a great reputation with a defining ethos of girls first with no limitations on what students can achieve.
