There’s been a battle going on over when, how, or even if, our children should be taught about sex and sexuality in school. Many argue that a secular and progressive approach to sex education can heighten religious and cultural tensions in our society. And that we need to allow for religious sensitivities when it comes to talking to kids about sex.
