Today, on March 4, we are taking the time to observe International HPV Awareness Day. In 2021, the IWMF and the Sabin Vaccine Institute launched the Global Health Reporting Initiative: Vaccines and Immunization in Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean. During the program’s three-year run, we trained more than 60 journalists in 36 countries to report on public health and then offered reporting grants to put their skills into practice.

El profesor Pichardo, como lo llaman todos sus alumnos pero también los vecinos de la parroquia, vive día a día con la pasión de promover la música popular venezolana y el empeño de compartir como maestro su conocimiento para formar generaciones de buenos músicos, buenos profesionales y buenos seres humanos desde su taller en La Pastora. Desde el año 2008 lleva con honor el título de Patrimonio Cultural Viviente de Venezuela por su importante labor como cultor popular.
