Costa Coffee has picked AnalogFolk as the brand’s UK social media agency of record following a competitive pitch. AnalogFolk was reappointed with an expanded remit after a two-way shootout with another unnamed agency. Costa Coffee has worked with AnalogFolk since 2015 on part of its social media account covering strategy and creator-led content. The expanded remit now covers the entire social business.

The move comes a year after the agency was acquired by Common Interest. Design and communications studio Otherway has opened an office in New York and appointed Javier Passerieu to lead it as president of Otherway US. The expansion is part of plans to grow the business in the US. The US office's “founding client” is mortgage service Rocket Companies, which recently launched a rebrand with a TV ad during this year's Super Bowl.

Twix has unveiled a revamped global brand platform that celebrates the fact that “Two is more than one”. Created by Adam & Eve/DDB, the campaign evolves the previous Twix platform, which focused on choice and opposition (left or right Twix), and showcases how people who eat Twix can have it all. A 60-second ad features a high-speed car chase, during which the protagonist dramatically rolls off a cliff.
