A historic softball game was, at times, just another typical Saturday for Stanford in 2025. A record-breaking crowd of 13,207 was there to witness the Cardinal hit three home runs, give up another three and play a game inside the wacky dimensions of a softball field squeezed inside of a football stadium. The previous NCAA record attendance for a single game of 12,566 was set on the first day of the 2024 Women's College World series on May 30 of last year.
