Reaves brothers bring camp to Batesville in June

The 2025 Reaves Brothers Basketball Camp will be making a stop at Batesville this summer. The camp is conducted by professional basketball players Austin Reaves of the Los Angeles Lakers and European star Spencer Reaves. Both played basketball at Cedar Ridge High School in Newark. The Batesville dates are June 16 and 17. Other sites and dates are Springdale on June 9-10, Conway on June 11 and 12 and Jonesboro on June 13 and 14.

I, along with a lot of other sports media types in Arkansas, received an email from Rich Sanders through our thread for voting on the Arkansas Sports Media football rankings. It was to tell us all that longtime sportswriter and journalist Scott McDonald had died late Tuesday night. He was 56.
