Two prison officers have been bashed by an enraged bikie at a maximum security Melbourne prison. The Herald Sun has been told the pair were left unconscious when the outlaw motorcycle gang member launched his attack at the Metropolitan Remand Centre at Ravenhall on Saturday. Both officers were knocked to the ground and stomped on during the onslaught, described by a source as horrific. They were taken to hospital with what one source said were serious injuries.

Police chopper video has shown how sparks flew and wheels fell off as a group of teens with a bailed 16-year-old at the wheel drove through suburban Melbourne in a stolen SUV. The stolen Porsche Cayenne was spotted by the Air Wing rocketing erratically along the Monash Freeway at 240km/h at about 4.20am on Monday. It was tracked to Huntingfield Rd in Toorak where police used stop sticks to deflate its tyres at 5am.
