In order to to put some perspective to the obsession by the Labour government to fight Jason Azzopardi, it’s good to know that the Justice Minister, Jonathan Attard spent around three hours in court waiting to testify against Jason Azzopardi for allegedly filming the Prime Minister inside the Court building. The testimony lasted a couple of minutes. Jason Azzopardi made these revelations during a discussion hosted by Repubblika and journalist Christoph Schwaiger here.

Surgeon, lung specialist and University of Malta professor, Stephen Montefort will be extracted out of the National Health Service to be sent to London as Malta’s UK High Commissioner. His appointment will be part of the new diplomatic postings to be annoucned soon. Professor Montefort is a long-time Labour Party supporter and this will be his first diplomatic post. He wants to go to London to join his daughter who is studying there, so the government is appeasing him by making him ambassador.
