Air New Zealand has unveiled its new uniforms which will be worn by 6,000 staff from next year. The flag carrier announced plans to find its next uniform designer in 2023 – the airline’s current collection was designed by Dame Trelise Cooper and has been used for nearly 15 years. New Zealand-born Emilia Wickstead has designed the new range, which features bespoke hand painted prints from tā moko artist Te Rangitu Netana.

Travelodge continues to expand in the UK capital, with the opening of its 85th London hotel. The 113-room London Chiswick Travelodge is located next to Chiswick Roundabout, close to Gunnersbury Park, the Royal Botanic Kew Gardens and Brentford FC’s Gtech Community Stadium, and within walking distance of Gunnersbury Underground and Overground station. The hotel features the group’s latest generation room and reception design, as well as its 85 Bar Café concept which was unveiled last year.

Air France has launched its new La Première suites on one of its seven daily flights between Paris CDG and New York JFK. Flight AF004 departs Paris CDG daily (except Wednesday) at 1030, arriving into JFK at 1240, with the return leg AF001 leaving New York at 1630, landing back into the French capital at 0555 the following day.

Emirates has announced plans to roster its retrofitted A380 aircraft onto one of the carrier’s daily flights between Manchester and Dubai. From 6 June (or earlier if the aircraft refurbishment programme allows) flight EK018 departing Manchester at 1405, and EK017 departing Dubai at 0725 will feature a four-class retrofitted superjumbo.

The former NH The Lord Charles Hotel has been reflagged as The Lord Charles Hotel, Somerset West, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The 198-room hotel is situated at the foot of Helderberg mountain, around 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre, and around 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
