    Dublin Airport has highlighted a number of enhancements to its customer experience, as it moves into the peak summer months. The airport has added 1,000 seats across its terminals, including 420 new seats at boarding gates, more than 100 “dwell seats” with charging facilities, 150 seats for those with reduced mobility, and 350 new landside seats.

    Aer Lingus has launched a new partnership with Uber, allowing AerClub members to earn Avios when taking journeys with the rideshare firm. Members who link their AerClub and Uber accounts via the Uber app will earn one Avios for every €1 spent on any Uber journey taken in Ireland and the UK. And those who link their accounts and take an Uber journey before 31 July will receive 500 bonus Avios. Aer Lingus joins fellow IAG carrier British Airways, which has partnered with Uber since 2022.

    Iberia has unveiled Italian coffee brand illycaffè as its new inflight and ground coffee provider. From this month the flag carrier is offering illy’s 100% Arabica blend in its VIP airport lounges and on long-haul flights in all classes. The Italian brand has been expanding its aviation presence in recent months, having also become the official coffee provider of ITA Airways earlier this year, and introducing ready-to-drink Cold Brew cans on most United flights over 300 miles last year.

    Nobu Hospitality has announced plans for its second Polish property. Nobu Kraków will be located close to the city’s Old Town, and will offer 100 guest rooms and 80 residences, as well as a rooftop swimming pool and the group’s signature Nobu restaurant. The property will also feature what Nobu is calling its first “cultural district”, with a theatre stage, cinema hall, recording studio, co-working area and art gallery.

    SWISS has launched its first signature cocktail, which will be offered in premium long-haul cabins from next month. SWISS Alpine Essence is described as “a light and floral homage to the White Negroni”, and blends dry white vermouth and elderflower syrup with crème de menthe, white crème de cacao and citrus and herbal notes. It was created in collaboration with Thailand-born award-winning bartender Sarah Madritsch and Zurich’s IGNIV by Andreas Caminada Bar.
