When Pennsylvania’s hunters begin applying for antlerless deer licenses on Monday, June 23, they’ll find a record number of tags awaiting them. That’s because the Pennsylvania Game Commission allocated 1.31 million permits, up nearly 11% from the 1,18 million available in 2024, in an effort to reduce whitetail numbers across the majority of the state.
