    On Sunday, Whitstable Town lock horns with AFC Whyteleafe in the FA Vase final at Wembley. To get this far, Whitstable started with an away game in the first qualifying round and found themselves one down to Corinthian-Casuals at the break. Josh Oliver levelled and Harvey Smith scored a late hat-trick to ease them home. Mike West then scored the only goal as the Oystermen hosted and beat Hollands and Blair in the second qualifying round.

    Barking’s Mayesbrook Park hosts the SCEFL Division One Cup final between Clapton Community and Forest Hill Park on Saturday. Both teams entered in the second round and had home ties, having had byes in the previous one. Clapton defeated SC Thamesmead four-nil with goals by Julian Austin, Fred Taylor, Cameron Gordon, and Arthur Wright. Forest Hill also kept a clean sheet when beating Tooting Bec two-nil with Ainsley Everett and Zak Ansah on target.

    Just three wickets fell on the second day of Kent second elevens three day friendly with Essex twos. On the first day, Kent put on 223 for the first wicket as both openers, Jayden Denly and Ekansh Singh scored centuries. They went on to finish the day on 406 for 8 with Mohammed Rizvi 21 not out. Rizvi continued where he left off when day two started and Oliver Butterfill joined him, scoring 26 from 27 deliveries in an entertaining partnership of 87.

    It took a penalties to decide the KCFL Invitation Charity Cup Final, contested between Sporting Club Thamesmead and FC Elmstead. When Thamesmead were reduced to ten men, and Elmstead went two up with under half an hour on the clock, few would have fancied the hosts’ chances. However, they were level by half time and both teams had chances to win it before Thamesmead won the sudden death shoot-out.
