Every now and then I hear people using port forwarding to access various home devices, and every time I say it will be attacked sooner or later, the usual response is "Well, I'm using a non-standard port so they'll never find out on that"Partly true, if standard ports are used like SSH/22, HTTP/80, HTTPS/443 it will take only a few minutes to be detected, while some random ports will take a week or two to be discovered.

Talking with an individual at a company that has major problems with on site and remote Live monitoring of multiple Verkada systems purchased by his predecessor. They asked if we were aware of any companies that had successfully terminated their Verkada VSAS agreement? They already understand they'll need to replace all their cameras if they can get out the contract.
