MEXICO CITY, Mexico—For Max Verstappen this season, it just keeps getting better. The Dutchman overcame a great start, a red flag session and continued to break another record, this time his own of 16 grand prix victories in a single season, as the Red Bull driver Sunday took an easy victory of over 13 seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton and third place Charles Leclerc at the Mexico City Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. AUSTIN, Texas—Even starting the race from sixth place and fighting his brakes, which gave him trouble for most of the race, Max Verstappen went on to win his 50th grand prix Sunday afternoon, just finishing ahead of Mercedes Lewis Hamilton, with McLaren’s Lando Norris taking third. Unfortunately, technical infringements after the race had Hamilton disqualified, putting Norris up another position into second, with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz moving into third.
