Let’s all meet up in the year 2000 – this week’s film quiz covers movies that have their 25th anniversaries this year. The sixth Final Destination film Bloodlines arrives in cinemas next Wednesday, not long after the original’s 25th anniversary, so this week’s quiz is a little nostalgic. As discussed in a previous quiz, 1999 is one of the great American movie years, but now it’s time for a bit of turn-of-the-century trivia, covering movies from the year after.

In this week’s film quiz, only one name stands out in Marvel’s Thunderbolts – Bob! 30 movie-related questions, coming up…The Marvel Cinematic Universe is now so massive that you don’t need the big title characters to make a team-up movie like Thunderbolts* (their asterisk, not ours). You can have a Black Widow (not that one), the Winter Soldier, Ghost, Taskmaster, U.S. Agent, and a new guy called Bob, played by Lewis Pullman. So, naturally, we’ve gone with a Bob-themed quiz.

With A Minecraft Movie still on the rampage in cinemas (literally in some cases), April’s other big video-game adaptation is Until Dawn, a horror movie in which staying alive for the night is trickier when the night keeps looping back to the beginning every time they’re killed.

The new Lilo And Stitch and Mission: Impossible films both open on the same weekend. But Tom Cruise has met Stitch at the box office before…One is a chaotic pint-sized fugitive who’s too fast to catch, the other is an alien hiding out on Earth. We’ll let you make your own jokes with that one. Crucially though, Tom Cruise and this particular Disney character have already opened against each other in cinemas once before.
